Why different post length and thickness?

Every ear possesses a distinct profile. It is important to choose the right post for your ear structure.

  • LENGTH

    The length (mm) refers to the measurement of the earring post itself, specifically the portion that goes through the earhole, excluding the threaded part.

  • GAUGE (THICKNESS)

    The gauge represents the thickness of the jewelry that passes through the piercing hole. It is also the size of the needle used for creating a fresh piercing.

Type of threads

  • THREADLESS

    Threadless labret piercing is an alternative to traditional piercing methods. It features a flat back design, eliminating the need for screws. Instead, it utilizes a push-pin mechanism for easy insertion. With its comfortable and secure fit, the threadless labret provides a comfortable wearing experience.

  • INTERNALLY THREADED

    Internally threaded labret jewelry has an inside-threaded post and a flat back, ensuring comfort for daily wear and sleep. It allows easy decorative end changes without removing the post, reducing irritation. This jewelry is safer to insert than external threading, but securing the end needs precision. Recommended for new piercings due to comfort and reduced irritation risk.

  • EXTERNALLY THREADED

    The externally threaded labret has a flat back and threads on the outside of the post. It's sleep-friendly due to its flat back but can be tricky to insert as it requires aligning the post with the piercing hole from behind the ear. Consulting a piercer for assistance is advised.

How to measure hoop size?

  • 1.

    Prepare a strip of paper and a marker pen. Holding the paper up to your ear, mark the measurement from the location of the piercing hole to the edge of your ear with a pen.

  • 2.

    Measure the marked portion of the papaer against a ruler by counting how many millimeters there are from the edge of the paper and where the line is marked.

  • 3.

    Choose your hoop with the INSIDE-MEASUREMENT and how you know your hoop size.
